Reviews and Ratings
The hotel is located on the west coast of the Cape in Falmouth, slipping a bit in recent years but still offering a beautiful beachfront location near many local attractions. The rooms come with an expensive 'upgrade' option for an ocean view and guests have to use the staircase since there is no elevator. The service exceeded our expectations with the onsite restaurant and staff taking care of everything needed, even arranging an early check-in. However, the hotel has locked down access to pools to prevent unattended children. Dining is included in the room rate, offering pretty good options, but some concerns arise during lunch with shared utensils.
The hotel had a mix of positives and negatives. The rooms were a bit noisy with delivery trucks passing by outside my window early in the morning. Although outdated and showing signs of wear, they were still nice. The bathroom, in particular, needed some attention. Overall, the place needed a refurbishment, but they did switch me to a different room.
My stay at the hotel was a mixed experience. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the friendly staff added to the pleasant atmosphere. However, the high humidity in the rooms made our clothes, towels, and bedding damp, which was quite inconvenient. On the bright side, the hotel location was excellent, right on the beach providing beautiful views of marine traffic, but there were some disappointments with the dining options being overpriced and limited.
